AC Hotel Waco Downtown

We had an absolutely wonderful experience! The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Chef Dameon clearly puts genuine care and talent into every dish. Cela and Shade were equally amazing behind the bar. They were warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our visit. The combination of delicious food, great drinks, and outstanding hospitality made the entire experience memorable. We will definitely be back and highly recommend stopping in!

Cela provided exceptional service during my visit. She was warm, super nice, and consistently attentive with a pleasant attitude that made the interaction feel genuinely welcoming. My take‑out food order was prepared correctly, packaged well, and ready right on time. Cela double‑checked everything before handing it off, which I appreciated since I was bringing it back to my hotel room. Cody was also very helpful, stepping in with support when needed and contributing to the smooth overall experience. Together, they made the visit feel effortless and well taken care of. Overall, both Cela and Cody delivered excellent hospitality, combining friendliness, efficiency, and professionalism.

The AC Hotel by Marriott Waco was absolutely amazing! We stayed here while attending the REFIT® RECON Convention, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. They welcomed our group with so much kindness, energy, and hospitality. It genuinely felt like they were part of our convention team! They did everything they could to accommodate us and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. I honestly can’t say enough wonderful things about the staff—they were exceptional. The hotel itself was just as impressive. Our room was modern, spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great stay. The location was another huge bonus, with so many restaurants, coffee shops, Magnolia, and downtown attractions all within easy walking distance. If you’re visiting Waco, I highly recommend staying at the AC Hotel by Marriott. Between the outstanding service, beautiful accommodations, and unbeatable location, it made our trip even more memorable. We can’t wait to come back!

I wanted to give a huge shout out to the staff at the AC Marriott Waco. Attended the Recon 2026 event for Refit Revolution and the hotel, amenities, restrooms, and meeting areas were very clean and well kept. The entire staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. I would like to give Danyelle and Michelle an extra kudos for keeping us with fresh towels and clean rooms and most of all huge smiles and super friendly attitudes. I wasn’t able to capture every staff member’s name I encountered but they all went above and beyond and had the patience of saints allowing all of us to catch the elevators first. Highly recommend this hotel for your event needs. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 🌟

Our stay here was just perfect. Bryce, Loretta and Karissa could not have been more helpful. They all were so nice and welcoming. We were moving family members from California to Waco and all was great, until winter storm Fern decided to drop in. Our flight home kept getting canceled and delayed causing us to stay a few extra nights. The staff (All mentioned above), were great and so understanding when we explained that twice, we had to extend our stay. Then we were greeted by Damien (the cook) and he gave us free breakfast coupons. Whatta nice surprise! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming were always greeted warmly in the halls and common areas. The room was sparkling clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. It was nice to sleep in a quiet (and dark) room. The location couldn’t have been more perfect. So close to everything, although the storm caused most places to close. We have family in the area, but when we come back for a visit, we’ll definitely be staying here.
