Discovering Austin's On The Avenue in Waco was amazing in the middle of the city! Unlike Scruffy Murphy, Austin's has a vibe that perfectly suits the Baylor community. The energy is vibrant, the music is amazing, and it's the ultimate spot for a night of dancing and fun. The drink prices won't break the bank! You get quality and a great experience without spending a fortune. This place gets one star because of an unprofessional interaction with the bouncer. I had dropped off the people I came with, parked the car, and then went to join them in line. The bouncer—who stopped me and said I couldn’t join my group and I had to go to the back of the line. I wasn’t trying to cut; I was just parking the car and catching up with my group. The little chunky bouncer made it feel like a power trip and it was totally unnecessary. Hopefully, he handles situations better in the future because this kind of treatment doesn’t leave a good impression on the business and this place definitely needs all the business.

It is a college bar for sure, not my vibe, and it is pretty messy. I'm not a fan of the crowds and it took some time for the bartender to get to us. I wouldn't recomend going there unless you're 18-22 then it will be more you're vibe. Great music though

If this is the definition of a nightclub in Waco…I’m concerned and confused. Horrible staff, even worse music. How do you expect to get people dancing with the crap that is being played in this pathetic excuse for a nightclub. What an absolute joke. I’m appalled

Little blonde girl behind the bar has an attitude problem. If she's that upset with her job she should consider a career change. Never in my life have I ever thought to treat someone that way. Especially when customer service and your tips are your income. Trashy establishment!t first visit and believe me, I won't be back.
