About Bruceville-Eddy Water Department/ Municipal Court

The Bruceville-Eddy Water Department/ Municipal Court operates as a local government office situated at 144 Wilcox Drive in Eddy, Texas, serving residents in the area just south of Waco. This civic facility assists community members with municipal court matters alongside public utility administration. Local citizens interact with the department for essential water service needs, including setting up service, addressing residential utility shutoffs, paying account deposits, and attempting to transfer municipal water accounts into their own names.

Holding a three-star rating based on two Google reviews, the department has elicited contrasting reactions from the local community. One resident navigating difficult family and financial circumstances shared a frustrating experience after being denied access when trying to pay a deposit and transfer utility service for their rental home. Our landlord had our water turned of on the house that we rent because we are behind due to I am disabled and COVID has hurt the wife's business. My wife went to the water department to pay the water deposit and have it transferred over to our name. Bruceville-Eddy water department denied access to water for us. We have been living here going on 5 years.
