Camp Fimfo Waco

We stayed here for 3 nights! Overall it was such a great experience and had a wonderful time with our kiddos. Only negative was rooms weren’t that clean, and a bit small. The kids area and pools were clean and activities were really fun. Bartenders were wonderful and the young lady that did bingo was so bubbly and fun! For sure made the experience even better. But I wanted to give a huge shout out to Adam and Zach. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing but amazing. Their customer service and level of care was outstanding. Both of them were so attentive to the pool areas and cabanas. Zach and Adam were very attentive at the door and ensuring only customers were here and adhering to the rules. They both answered any questions or concerns, as first time guest. They represented Camp Fimfo so positively! I do recommend this place to anyone with younger kiddos. We will be back next summer!

Our son drug their trailer to Camp Fimfo for a wedding that we were all attending. I can't say enough about how clean the place was - super impressed. The water park would be good for just about anyone. The bartenders at the swim-up pool (hung out there for 3 hours on Sat) had smiles on their faces and were fun, regardless of the fact it was 106. The shallow pool had the swim bar, lots of tables around it, and super nice cabanas you could reserve. My guess is that it had either a chiller or incredible turnover - very clean. The restaurant was good for a quick bite OR a family dinner. The "little slides" were perfect for littles (10-11 and under, swimmers or non-swimmers" as well as the 6'6"-er that just had to go down it. Definitely NOT your average, RV park. We want to go back and get a tiny home/cabin and let the kiddos stay in the camper!!! I would schedule out, esp during "high" season - that place is probably PACKED! We were the first weekend outside of high season (Aug 14). We walked down to the river. You could def tube for a bit, and get out and walk back. Pretty tight security at the pool and entry. Even tho you can't see much of the park, but here's a fun pic below pre-wedding.

Dirty pool! My son and husband both got pink eye! We recently stayed at Camp Fimfo in Waco, Texas, and my kids had an absolute blast. There are so many fun activities, and it's a great place for families to make memories. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was a huge disappointment. The main swim-up bar pool was very cloudy, and the water did not look clean. There were dark spots on the bottom of the pool that looked like they had been missed during cleaning, and I even noticed algae around the pool steps. After swimming, both my husband and my son ended up with pink eye, which was very concerning. The cabins also needed better attention. Ours wasn't very clean when we arrived, and there was no dish soap or hand soap provided. If guests are expected to bring those items, it would be helpful if that were clearly communicated before check-in. Overall, Camp Fimfo has the potential to be an amazing family destination because the activities are so much fun, but the cleanliness of both the pool and the cabins needs significant improvement. Sadly, because of our experience, I can only give it 2 out of 5 stars.

Great experience at Camp Fimfo. Pool area was awesome and the 3 bartenders did amazing all day, Amber, Hayden and Hunter kept up with the busy traffic from start to finish. Can't say enough good things about this 3 person team. Kennedi checked us in, it was fast and easy another great experience. Whenever you're coming or going from the pool, you're always greeted by Maddie and Presley, they always have a smile and they make you feel welcomed.

This was our first time at Camp Fimfo, and it far exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the magnolia cabin with a baby and toddler and we were extremely comfortable. It was stocked with all the basic cooking appliances and plenty of clean bed sheets and towels. Our check in and out was so easy. Everything was so laid back and relaxing. The pizza at Squirrely’s Tavern was so good, the general store had just about everything you needed, and everything was pretty reasonably priced. Definitely get the golf cart to get around the park - it’s worth the extra money!!! We also got the Fun Pass for our daughter and it was SO worth it and fun checking off all the activities. This was easily a top 3 favorite vacation. We were sad to leave and so looking forward to next summer! We’d like to acknowledge some staff that made our experience even better - Adam at the pool for helping with our cabana and making sure it was clean. Hunter at the pool bar for making us the best piña coladas and Bloody Marys! Dallas for leading all the fun crafts/activities with the kiddos, and last but certainly not least, Sam for making sure our cabin was super clean and stocked.
