Comfort Suites Waco North - Near University Area

Comfort Suites North Waco was a great choice for us. We experienced great customer service from the very start. Norma, Manager, she's friendly, attentive, informative and accommodating. She was able to provide what we requested, as far as room location, etc. Charisma at the front desk, was very helpful and cordial. The room is spacious and very nicely put together. Cleanliness was displayed in all the spaces we were in. Both elevators were working, the pool was opened, but we did not go in it due to lack of time, and breakfast was sufficient and healthier than fast food. Coffee and iced lemon water were supreme. The maintenance gentleman fixed our room's TV promptly, after it expirienced a glitch during a short storm. Thank you all so much, for making our first visit to Waco a very pleasurable one.

A Wonderful, Welcoming Stay - Outstanding Service! I recently stayed at the Comfort Suites Waco North in Bellmead, TX, and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and offered tremendous value for the price. What truly sets this property apart is the top-notch staff. On our first evening, I needed extra bedding for the pull-out sofa. One of the front desk employees was literally grabbing her purse to head home for the night when she overheard my request to the relief staff. Instead of walking out the door, she immediately turned around with a warm smile, guided me to a supply room, and gathered every item I needed with genuine enthusiasm. That level of dedication after a long shift speaks volumes about their culture. Every other interaction was just as positive: Maintenance: We noticed a burned-out light bulb over the sink upon check-in; maintenance arrived right away, fixed it promptly, and treated us with great courtesy and a helpful attitude. Breakfast Staff: The morning breakfast attendants were attentive, efficient, and exceptionally kind. Amenities & Atmosphere: The kids had a fantastic time in the clean indoor pool, and while the room was slightly cozier than what we are typically used to, the layout was efficient and spotless. Even the other guests staying on the property were friendly and respectful, making for a quiet, relaxing environment throughout our trip. I will definitely recommend Comfort Suites Waco North to friends and family traveling through the area, and I will not hesitate to book here again for our next visit.

All four stars are for front desk staff alone and only. Especially Norma, she will be the reason why I am returning. The one star lacking is due to housekeeping trying to come into rooms before 11 AM Multiple times during my stay, even after I mentioned it the first time. There’s no reason why you should bother a Guest before 11 o’clock. We pay for an experience & service, thankfully Norma more than made up for it with her amazing personality, hospitality & all around initiative to make my experience a great one. It definitely was & I’ll be back very soon!

We came to Waco for a convention. At first, we were disappointed by the elevator "which has been out for a year" (according to the night clerk!), but that was just the beginning. Our air conditioner leaked, soaking the carpet next to the bed. The internal doors (closet, bathroom) did not hang true, and swung open if not securely latched. The guests above us sounded like they were elephants, and we heard conversations in the adjacent room. The curtains would not stay closed. When entering the side door, a leaky air conditioner above dripped on you as you tried to enter the building. The furniture and bed were (mildly) stained. The sink and tub fixtures were loose. And then - there's the bedbugs. I got bitten the first two nights, and showed pictures to the manager. They DID move us to a new room, but refused any compensation or discount. The manager insinuated she did not believe I received the bites at her hotel; she indicated that they would bring pest control into the room and investigate, but I believe her as much as she believed me. (I really should have gone and knocked on the room door to see if it was occupied. My bad.) My foot and leg still itch as I write this. What did they get right? It felt reasonably safe. Breakfast was passable. Their indoor pool is open. The bed was comfortable (well, except for the bugs). It did not smell bad. To be honest, my expectations were low, but being bitten is a step too far - and to receive as little assistance/compensation as I did ruined the experience completely. I called their corporate office about it, and the only thing they would do is send a note to the hotel manager.

Excellent hotel. The parking isnt my favorite; the only con. It smells nice when you walk in and is clean. The lady who checked me in (3/31 at 1430) was amazing! So genuinely kind, accommodating and helpful. Room was wonderful. Clean, roomy and also accommodating. Loved the mini kitchen area, couch and that the vanity was outside the bathroom. Also, the shower shelves. Yes!!!!! 3! These modern showers barely hold two products. There is light traffic noise but its the swooshing of vehicles, not horns and traffic. The bed was very comfy which i was surprised i slept so well.
