I recently started working out at Crunch in Waco. I have enjoyed the classes, especially Angela’s yoga class. She is such a great teacher! I also love Erica’s classes and her great energy. She is friendly and encouraging to all! I do some personal training, and my trainer Kim offers creative ways to work on my strength, stability and balance. I have enjoyed the accountability. I also love the hydro massage and red light therapy options. My only negatives are the weight room occasionally smells like weed, and they need to figure out how to make it cooler in some parts of the gym.

I had an issue with my billing the previous month, so I made sure to update it before the next billing period. I literally received an email confirmation when I did so. I ended up being charged $30 in late fees because they used my old payment information. When I emailed to request a refund, they left me a voicemail explaining that they wouldn’t because of some sorry excuse. If you’re not going to properly correspond via email, don’t include it on your website. I ended up canceling my membership and was immediately offered 50% off of the next three months, which equaled to about $25. How comedic! I passed on the offer due to the lack of good customer service. Plus, I won’t miss the overcrowded gym.

I walked into the gym and it was pretty busy, but Devyn, Shalee, and Dauvo still took time out of their day to make eye contact with me and greet me! They were all dressed in bright, summery outfits, and they looked amazing and happy! The customer service at such a busy establishment truly deserves to be commended. 10/10 — highly recommend!

I signed up for training after being encouraged to do sessions twice a week. The manager told me that after 3 months, I would be able to cancel based on my original start date. However, I was charged three times incorrectly and told I would receive a $120 refund. It’s now been almost three weeks, and I still haven’t received it. To make matters worse, I recently found out that someone at the gym signed my name to a new contract without my authorization. When I tried to cancel, I was told I couldn’t because of this new agreement. I even went in person with proof that the signature wasn’t mine, but I’ve been given nothing but excuses and no resolution. At this point, I’m stuck paying for a membership I don’t want, and I still haven’t been refunded for the overcharges—even though I have written confirmation that a refund was issued. This has been an extremely frustrating experience. I would strongly advise others to be cautious about signing up for training here. Something about this situation does not feel right. I’ve attached pictures of the clearly obvious forged signatures (mine is the one that never leaves the paper the squiggles)

The gym itself was unbelievably well equipped and clean, and I did not have to wait for any piece of equipment. But I was answering an ad, which offered a 3 day pass. However. when I got there, I was told that I did not qualify. And I had to pay a rather expensive day pass to get in. This was very unfortunate very deceptive. I understand why they only want the 3 day pass to apply to those who live near by. However, reasonable accommodation for out-of-staters would have made it a very positive experience for me.
