Find all your gardening and plant needs at Da Shack Farmers Market! They have many herbs and plants that can be hard to find elsewhere like moringa! Donna is extremely patient and helpful with your selections and gardening needs and gives a lot of advice for those who are just getting started or needing support!

Da’ Shack is an interesting farmer’s market where the owner cuts the vegetables for customers from her garden on the spot. Melba and her daughter Donna are so sweet and give wonderful customer service. I love that you can get quality local organic produce at affordable prices without extra plastic packaging and waste if you bring your own totes. My favorites are kale, collards, lettuce, cilantro, green onions, squash, onions, jalapenos, tomatoes, and japanese mustards. I gave her some seeds for perilla leaves (깻잎), Chinese eggplants, and Thai basil, which are hard to find in Waco. I hope she can get many Asian customers looking for these herbs!

These are the most humble and kind folks i have ever had the good fortune to meet. Everything in the store is reasonably priced, its all organic and try the cantaloupe....sweet as sugar....you won't find better produce, plants & herbs anywhere in Waco for the price and the good Christain spirit of the family who own it. Love this place! You can find the hard to find herbs here and lots more! Excited to find them!! I would highly recommend you go check them out! Great small family business! Very knowledgeable about all organic gardening!
