This place is an absolute delight! Small town beauty and charm with country kitchen. Absolute wonderful food and dessert, staff that is friendly , and atmosphere that is good ol' southern comfortable and family friendly. Tasty burgers, sandwich and a chicken fried chicken and sides "better than Texas Roadhouse's". That Eagle's Landing dessert, though had my family enjoying every bite! Lissia was great! An absolute hoot, hospitable, and like your best friend. We will certainly return next trip through to Austin.

So, we just recently moved to Temple and took a drive to eat here not too far away but was highly recommended. The restaurant displays the historical aspect of the town and it is antiquity of the restaurant that has brought so many people through here. There is some wait time but it was worth it. Everyone there was so welcoming and food was served promptly. I ordered the grilled chicken with mushrooms and onions. My sides were steamed broccoli and Mac n cheese. My favorite part of the meal was the Mac n cheese! I devoured every bite on that plate but the Mac n cheese just hit differently. 🤤 One last thing, apple cider alcoholic beverage is a must try, it is so good. 😬

I have been here twice now, all within a week. Their food is amazing. I highly recommend the steak fingers and chicken fried chicken, amazing green beans, and mashed potatoes. Their mac and cheese is also amazing and so many desserts to choose from. Their prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend you visit!

This is a gem hidden right off of i35. If you love a good southern meal then I highly recommend Eagles Landing. Do yourself a favor and save room for dessert. I got the lava cake with ice cream and it was the best I’ve had in a looooooooong time. My friend got the chicken fried steak and she says “It’s the best in central Texas!” She knows her chicken fried steak, so that’s saying something. ;) This is our third time here and it’s consistently been a hit!

Rib eye steak was tender and delicious. Onion rings were seasoned nicely, very large & tasty. Everything we ordered was well prepared and delicious.
