EVEN Hotel Waco - University Area by IHG

I had a great stay at EVEN Hotel in Waco. The hotel feels modern, upscale, and very well maintained, with thoughtful amenities in both the lobby and the rooms. The gym was especially impressive, clean, professional, and well equipped. A special thanks to Nico at the front desk for being so helpful, warm, and genuinely caring. His professionalism made a real difference during my stay. Because the hotel is at such a high level, I expected more from the dining. Breakfast was decent but did not quite match the overall quality, and dinner could be improved. Overall, a very positive experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel for its atmosphere, cleanliness, and excellent staff.

Our family of five with 2 teens and a 7 year had two rooms and we stayed here on a Saturday to Sunday were here for a soccer camp in Temple, TX and it was a great hotel for families! Super modern renovated property, very kind and service driven staff and their pools outside on a Saturday night are open until 1030pm and the vibe and the ambience is so amazing which is rare these days because so many hotel pools close very early these days, so I truly appreciated that. They had 2 pools, hot tub, tanning ledge w/ bubblers and good lighting. Sofas, loungers, bar outside and good music. They have a wellness fucus and the gym was nice and they have in room Gaiam yoga mats, yoga blocks and a traction roller. On the tv they have guided on demand videos for cardio, yoga, stretching,etc. If I come back to Waco for some camps, family things, I definitely would stay here again. ( I sauteed previously at the Cambria next door and I liked this layout equally as much.

I couldn't possibly compliment this hotel enough, from the friendly staff, the fitness room, the pool area, and the spacious rooms. Richard was the first person we came in to contact with, he was polite, and patient. We just wanted to view the location since our plans fell through at a different hotel in downtown Waco.needless to say he allowed us to view part of the hotel property, and we decided to book it online. This property is in pristine condition, the bar area is great for having a night cap, the pool is large enough for a large family, and the rooms are spacious. We worked out at their fitness room and it is first class all the way, plenty of machines and treadmills, it was perfect. Thanks Nico, for being helpful, very personable, and professional, as well as the cleaning staff, and breakfast crew. We will definitely be staying here again!

This was our second Memorial Day weekend stay at EVEN Hotel Waco, TX and yet again the room was neat and looked clean. Service was on point and Robert S., Asst. GM was very, very courteous and hospitable! My only complaint would be that the dining area wasn’t open on our last evening stay. We had a salad, burger & fries on our last stay and we were looking forward to that again, oh well! Very nice hotel, great price…we highly recommend!

I travel often with my husband for his work. We typically stay at Hilton and Marriott properties. This IHG property exceeded expectations. It has that new hotel smell, comfy beds and fresh cotton bedding. The water pressure, shower size and cleanliness are A+. Angel and Nario in the kitchen made our morning today by cooking breakfast before the kitchen technically opened so my husband didn't have to go to work hungry. I spoke with Angel yesterday about our breakfast dilemma...Angel delivering it to our room before I had time to come down for the food made it even more special. We booked a Peloton room. Initially, the bike did not work but Richard and the team were able to resolve the issue in a few hours. The gym is expansive, the pool and hot tub are beautiful and the hotel's location is within walking distance to downtown attractions. Ideally, if I could recommend a few tweaks: (1) open the kitchen at 6am, at least during the week or have a grab and go breakfast for early risers...you will attract more travelers, (2) put a microwave in each room (area restaurant portions are large and having to walk to the elevator/microwave area takes time), and (3) add hooks near the door for jackets, purses and backpacks. For me, EVEN Hotel's positives far outweigh any negatives. We will be back.
