Nice place. We went to a dinosaur expo. It was a bit spendy for what was available but the grandkids enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly at the door. Once you got inside you could see some staff members wanting to pull their hair out lol. We're not all cut out to be around screaming kids all day long. Me included in that group.

Due to cost-cutting efforts by the appaloosa horse club (something all breeds are experiencing as the number of people participating in horse shows declines), the Appaloosa Nationals and Youth World Show was held in Waco, Texas at ExtraCo Event Center in 2026. The two main arenas are enclosed and air-conditioned, making it possible to hold this event in Texas in July. Some stall areas were pretty warm, so fans, etc. are needed when stalling in the summer. This facility has older sections built in the '50s, but overall is quite serviceable and provides good value for the cost. Moreover Waco has plenty of hotels and restaurants for show participants to access.

The Extraco Events Center is a great venue for all kinds of events. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and easy to navigate, with plenty of space for large crowds. The concession stands offered a great selection, and the service was quick and friendly. Whether you're attending a trade show, market, sporting event, or another special event, this is an excellent place to visit. We had a great experience and look forward to coming back for future events.

I attended a graduation ceremony at the Extraco Events Center in Waco, and overall it was a great experience. The venue is spacious and worked well for a large gathering. The sound and lighting were excellent, and the temperature inside was comfortable—not too hot and not too cold. The bathrooms were also clean and well-maintained, which I appreciated. My only wish is that the center offered some sort of stadium seating or bleachers, as it would have made it easier for everyone to see the stage. Otherwise, it’s a very good venue for big events.

Came here for the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo. Brought 4 German Tourists and Wow they loved every minute of this. Absolutely worth every penny. Only wished I knew my Rodeo tickets get you thru the Gates for the Fair, that would have saved us $50? My only complaint. Every aspect of the Rodeo was exciting and the breaks between events was entertaining with light shows and music. This place rocks! Good job Extraco Events Center Staff also for helping German foreigners find their seats. Good staff. Highly recommend this event. Come here people!
