Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Waco North

After a 12-hour drive, the last thing I wanted to deal with was a reservation issue. I had originally booked my stay from Tuesday through Friday, but I arrived a day early on Monday. James and Gabe T. at the front desk immediately jumped in, worked together, and quickly adjusted my reservation without any hassle. Their professionalism, teamwork, and genuine willingness to help turned what could have been a stressful situation into a seamless experience. That level of customer service is truly appreciated, especially after a long day on the road. A sincere thank you to James and Gabe T. for making my check-in so easy. It’s employees like you who make guests feel welcomed and valued. I truly appreciate your kindness and outstanding service!

This was a great stop with my family heading south. Staff was friendly at check in and room was nice! Room was super clean, kids loved having the extra space! Breakfast was nice and fresh with plenty of options. Would definitely stop in again passing through the area!

We stayed at this hotel for a baseball tournament this weekend. We were a little nervous considering mixed reviews. I’m happy to report we had an awesome stay. Our room was spotless, smelled nice , fresh, clean linens were on the beds, the ice box was the coldest I have ever had when traveling, and the AC worked awesome as I like it very cold when I sleep. We were greeted when we arrived and back when we returned at night. The lady that was cleaning rooms was very friendly when we shared the elevators. Typical free breakfast spread, everything was fresh. The pool was down but wasn’t the end of the world. This is an older hotel but it’s in really good shape. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The hotel is decent, not amazing. The room I stayed at was mid, not the greatest. The location of the hotel itself is what pushes this hotel to a 4 star rating. Overall it's an alright hotel in a convenient location. In the photos you can see that at the time I stayed the entrance the hotel has a few lights out on its sign. The lobby and dining areas were very clean and updated. In the room I stayed at the room was clean, there were just a few cosmetic defects as seen in the photos. In the restroom there was a crack in the ceiling near the vent otherwise the restroom was clean. In the room, the pillows are not very fluffy so keep that in mind if you like your pillows like that. The fridge was a little dirty and needed some cleaning and the TV was a little on the smaller end. The room otherwise was fairly clean as well.

Clean sheets and towels, but bathroom sink, toilet and shower dirty. Sink had whiskers where someone shaved. Toilet still had stains from previous use.. And dirty towels on floor in bathroom under sink area. Dirtiest bathroom I have ever been in at a hotel. Alsoz, no body wash in shower. Had shampoo and conditioner, but no body wash or soap. Gentleman working front desk at night very friendly and polite. But upon check out waited 7 to 10 minutes for someone to show up to give key. When woman showed up, never apologized for keeping me and another man waiting for so long. Came from kitchen area. This was 11:40 a.m. Do not recommend.
