About FedEx Ground

FedEx Ground operates a dedicated shipping service facility situated along Alliance Parkway in the Hewitt area of greater Waco. As part of a widespread chain, this storefront provides area patrons with access to essential office and packaging supplies, serving as a functional resource for preparing outbound packages. Alongside its supply inventory, the location offers a variety of everyday business amenities, including standard printing and parcel shipping services.

However, the hub holds a notably low rating of 1.7 stars across 342 Google reviews, reflecting widespread customer dissatisfaction. Reviewers frequently report chronic delivery delays, detailing experiences where tracking indicates an item is out for delivery for a full week without reaching its destination. Patrons also highlight recurring issues with drivers ignoring written placement instructions and leaving boxes in driveways instead of on front porches. In addition, callers express frustration with the automated phone system, which gives minimal automated tracking updates and hangs up instead of allowing patrons to speak with a live representative.

Worst delivery service. Cannot follow delivery instructions from their own company, or a LARGE handwritten sign. Not only that, they lie and say delivered to porch when it’s left in the drive way. Made multiple complaints. FedEx does nothing. Our UPS guy will pick FedEx deliveries up and place on the porch. I wish there was a way to shop by delivery company. I would never use FedEx.

FedEx is just the worst. The US government’s postal service is actually better and more trustworthy than FedEx. FedEx do you realize just how bad you are when your civilian company is actually worse than a government ran postal/package delivery service?? Because like almost all other bloated incompetent government entities (think VA, the IRS, the BATF) that’s probably the lowest bar you have to meet or exceed and you consistently fail to meet that bar. 1. I foolishly used FedEx to send sensitive documents to a city 1.5 hours from where I live. 5 days later the FedEx envelope still had not been delivered. 2. I called FedEx to open a case and I was assured the individual was going to dispatch someone to go the my local FedEx sorting location to retrieve my package of sensitive documents. Turns out that was a lie. They assured me my documents never left my sorting location, in spite of there being a timestamp saying the package was attempted to be delivered at the business I was sending the sensitive docs to at 0400 in the morning. It was marked as business location with a signature required. I ask you - what freaking businesses are open at 0400 in the morning?!! 2. In spite of the utter incompetence of FedEx customer service not having a clue where my SENSITIVE DOCUMENTS were, they closed my ticket. 3. I called and opened a 2nd ticket because FedEx still had NO CLUE where my sensitive docs were. 4. That ticket got closed without any resolution as well. 5. FedEx’s incompetence at this point was holding up a payment from an insurance company dude to the now MIA documents. 6. Thankfully the company working with the insurance company went above and beyond their efforts went through the process to have the lost documents regenerated and I was able to receive payment. When you are both more incompetent and more useless than a) a government organization, and b) worse than an insurance company - well I think that says it all. And then some.

My package has said out for delivery for a week. Said it’s on the truck with “Kimberly” but has not been delivered. This has been the status since 07/22. The IVR is the most frustrating thing bc it won’t let you talk to anyone and just says “this is the most updated info we have” and hangs up on you. I can’t get any help or assistance from anyone.

Everytime a package I am planning to receive goes through the Hewitt facility it gets a “barcode address unreadable” and is reprinted to an address in another State. I’ve called and everytime have been advise this is escalated and will be resolved. Since 2024 this issue still continues. Today is yet another occurrence of this happening. It shouldn’t be this hard for a multi-billion corporation to update a system record as simple as an address update. FedEx business model is delivery to an address and when it cannot successfully perform this action it needs to re-evaluate its customer service practices. This is an example of a company too big and unable to perform a basic service and companies who rely on them should consider other options.

Please ensure your employees know how their basic numbers. I swear robots could deliver better. I can't wait for that day to happen! Always deliver my packages to the wrong address and the sad thing is the street number is prominently labeled on both houses and FedEx still can't get it right!
