Everything was great, got alot on the fish dinner and the food was perfectly cooked. The only thing is that I wish there was more flavor. Other than that, it was more than I could ask for compared to most places.

Okay maybe it’s because we were told this place was a hidden gem…. We were very disappointed. They have a huge menu and you walk up and order and self serve your drinks which is all fine. The floor was slippery by the drink station but we made it okay. We choose to sit at a booth. They called our number and my husband went and got it. He ordered the fried fish with spicy fries. He said it was all very bland with no flavor at all. I ordered one of their specials which was sirloin and shrimp my sides were greens and mashed potatoes with white gravy and it came with a yeast roll. The roll was the best tasting thing on my plate. Everything else just had no flavor. Now it was edible and as a friend of mine would say it is life sustaining. We were very unimpressed.

I will say for the outcome of the food you get. Go in and order not through the phone. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with sides. Got a dry hamburger pattie with no cheese. Everything was cold. I had also ordered chicken fry meaning chicken fried steak. Will not be coming here again. After spending 30 dollars on this order.

I didn't know this place existed until I seen it on door dash the other day. I saw that they had reasonable prices, a menu with a large variety, and good looking food. After seeing all of that, I had to try out Griffs for myself! I got the catfish, shrimp, fried okra and onion rings. It was so much food, I enjoyed the okra, onion rings and fish it all tasted great. I didn't really enjoy the hush puppies because they were deep fried a bit too hard for my liking and the shrimp just didn't hit the spot for me, but it definitely had a nice crunch. I would definitely come back to try more

Griff’s Restaurant is one of those spots that knows exactly what it is—and does it right. It’s a no-frills, gas station setup where you walk up, order at the counter, grab a seat, and fill your own drinks. Simple and efficient. The food is the reason to come, and it doesn’t miss. The catfish is consistently good, burgers are solid, and the chicken fried steak hits every time. Portions are generous and prices are hard to beat. It’s not trying to be fancy—it’s just good, honest food in a laid-back setting, and that’s exactly why it works. If you’re looking for a true local spot with great comfort food, this is it.
