I only give one star and that's due to them just answering the PHONE!!! A family member has been dealing with MHMR for about 4 years, today we spoke with the program director Kristi or however you spell her name. She was very unprofessional and was rude, clearly needs to be evaluated herself. My family member was given the run around, misinformation was given and there was no empathy at all towards my family member. Good luck trying to get help from this mental facility! They are not compassionate at all and always give us the run around. This program director literally blew my family member off. I want her to be held accountable for all the misinformation that was given today, I honestly feel horrible for all you other people out there who have to deal with this person and this horrible system. My family member shouldn't feel this way after a visit from MCOTT! Kristi you should be ashamed of yourself, you should not be in that position that others are more than qualified to be in. DO BETTER MHMR

If I could give this MHMR ACT Team zero stars I would… this place is a joke!! My little brother unfortunately has this so called team constantly coming over to my Mother’s house where he resides, bringing him pack after pack of medication, several team members at different times, in other words, too much medication is being dropped off! My poor brother is constantly being picked up by an ACT team associate to have his bloodwork, he told me that he feels like a pin cushion… I honestly don’t think he needs to be picked up as often as he is, seems like they’re really draining his Insurance as much as they can. Also, one of the ACT team associates (Kathy) asked my brother, What color are you? She also asked him who comes over to visit you all? Did you take a shower? Those questions seem rather personal to me, what does any of that have to do with his bloodwork and medication??? I believe the doctor at this MHMR should just write up a prescription to be called in to my brothers pharmacy and I can take him to his family doctor as necessary for bloodwork. It would definitely eliminate the RUDE ACT team associates that disrespect and impose on my Mothers and Brothers other appointments that have actually had to be canceled due to them saying they would show up at a specific time and not showing up until hours later, totally unacceptable and unprofessional. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone needing professional mental health care. My brother is actually worse than he was 6 years ago when this ACT team decided they were going to brainwash him and keep him over medicated. Just sharing my honest opinion so others will know the truth about this place. I’m shocked TEXAS would even allow this nonsense… Extremely saddening to me that there’s not a better place than this in the area, this place shouldn’t even be allowed to be in practice. BEWARE!!!!

Worst place for mental health I've ever experienced. They think it's no big deal to miss your medication for a while week because you have an appointment coming up. Mental health priority one should be to make sure patients have medication. You can't have a direct line for your doctor which is something I've never heard of in my ten years in mental health. The case workers are really young and not given any type of training in this field. Worst place I've ever been to in my life. Not a place if you need real mental health issue!!
