If you live in the central Texas area or are just passing through, this is a must stop! The accommodations are as you would expect from Magnolia and JoAnna Gaines. This is a very comfortable property. We upgraded the room to the “Columbus” and we’re not disappointed! This was a small apartment!!! We had dinner at their rooftop restaurant called “Bertie’s”. It was good but a little loud due to hard surfaces throughout. The food was awesome. The Sea Bass and Steak were incredible!! This hotel in within walking distance from the Silos “5 Blocks”. There are also other dining and bar options around the neighborhood which makes it even more convenient. The bar staff was a little slow but you could see they were trying and wanting to make the drinks to your expectations. The staff at the front desk was very professional and helped us with an issue with the tub in our room. We will be back!!!

As big fans of Chip and Joana, we were super excited to stay here! The front desk staff were absolutely lovely and super helpful, and even upgraded us to a better room since it was the off season. The rooms are as beautiful as in the show! There were some small upgrades needed in the rooms like wallpaper peeling, etc. But it was 100% worth staying there!!

My Husband and I are avid travelers, and I think the Hotel 1928 is our favorite hotel. I like the fact that the hotel is beautiful and comfortable with most of the amenties of a large hotel with a smaller hotel ambiance. The food and wine was very good, and we had great service with, Cas (Casandra) and Josphine at the Brasserie and Courtney at Berdie's. Everyone we encountered in the rest of the hotel including the valet, the front desk, the coffee shop and the 2 ladies that brought us cookies, cold water and slippers were also very friendly and made our stay extra enjoyable! Although we never saw the housekeepers, our room was very clean. Thank you for a great stay!

This hotel is amazing! To it’s beautiful architecture down to the staff! The lady at the gift shop gifted us a candle out of kindness and the lady at the front desk upgraded us free of charge! Everyone was so welcoming and the room was amazing, they have every little detail perfected! I would 100% recommend for this experience! thank you hotel 1928.

I so badly wanted to give a five star review. My family and I stayed in the Washington Suite this weekend. The hotel is gorgeous. We loved sitting down in the library, and we enjoyed our breakfast very much. However, I feel when you are paying to stay in a very expensive suite there should be some perks that come with the price such as having coffee in the room. There was a pot, creamer, sugar, cups, stirrers, etc., but no coffee. We did not notice there was no coffee until the morning we woke up. I searched through every drawer as there is a kitchenette in the suite. We had to get dressed and go to the cafe and pay to get some coffee. The lady working at the cafe seemed very annoyed at having to pour black coffee into the cups. The front desk told us there was instant coffee in the room. There was none. Also, it would be nice if there were some basic silverware in the room when you bring a dessert back to the room. I think it would also be nice if free valet parking came with the suite. There should in my view be some perks for staying in their suite.
