Inner Space Cavern

Inner Space Cavern was a fascinating and memorable experience. The cave formations were beautiful, and the tour was both interesting and educational. I am glad my mom and I were able to experience it together. However, I would not consider the tour elderly-friendly. I completely understand why wheelchairs and walkers may not be permitted in certain areas because of the uneven terrain, but the entrance and exit use the same paved ramp and do not appear uneven. There should also be designated places along the route where elderly visitors can briefly rest without delaying the entire group. It took nearly 45 minutes to help my mom back up the exit ramp. An employee walked beside us, which I appreciated, but no additional assistance was available. We had a wonderful time overall, but I strongly recommend that families carefully consider an elderly guest’s mobility and endurance before booking. A few accessibility improvements and resting areas would allow more seniors to enjoy this incredible experience safely.

Such an amazing experience. We did the Hidden Passages tour. You take a trip back in time and in total darkness (with flash lights of course) and see amazing formations! If you go, ask for Duane, he is very knowledgeable and an awesome guide. You won’t be disappointed. (Take cash for tip!)

Such a cool experience! It’s comfortable in the cave, don’t really need long sleeves, it takes about an hour for the regular tour and about an hour for the hidden cave tour, both worth checking out. The regular tour is lit up all the way, the hidden tour is typically smaller groups and not lit up at all, just flashlights, which they provide! I would recommend bringing a dark light flashlight, would be cool to see the glow across the various surfaces! The tour guides are great, very knowledgeable and friendly! Would definitely come back with family! It’s a neat place!

I love exploring and this was a really great cave tour! They also have other fun things to do like a zip line ride, panning for gold and shopping in the gift shop. The cave was awesome!

I had no idea this place was going to be so big. You go underground about 50ft down a steep walkway to get to the cave. It’s immediately cooler, but extremely humid. You’re not allowed to touch anything in the caves. This place is about a mile long with some areas with low ceilings. It can get a little crowded as you’ll be with a big group of people and other groups have to squeeze past you. They built the highway directly over the caves so you can hear cars passing from above if you listen closely. The tour guides are extremely knowledgeable, especially Britain, who was ours. The tour is required, you have to go as a group. Check online before you arrive because you could end up waiting longer if you show up right after a tour starts. They also have different tours. We did the Adventure tour - the basic one. Don’t miss out on this opportunity if you’re thinking about it. It’s an insane experience and totally worth it for about $30 per person.
