Whoever is doing the upkeep for Iron Bridge Park, your doing a fantastic job!!! Last time I was there several years ago there was trash everywhere, people staying in trashed out buses, all grown up, picnic tables were a mess, bathrooms were a mess and I didn't feel safe. Today when I pulled up there, it looked like a golf course!!! No trash anywhere, the whole area was mowed and trimmed, the bathrooms were in good shape, picnic tables were clean. I was seriously impressed with everything that I saw!!! Before I wouldn't go there free or not and wouldn't recommend anyone going there but now it's a perfect place for a family outing, fishing from the banks. If you go down there, clean up after yourself so the next person can enjoy it and if youtake a dog, keep it on a leash!!!

Wonderful fishing location.. But the park is not well kept. If and when you can get to the water past the deep craters without tearing up your vehicle. It is a great spot for family fishing, camping, or BBQ. It would also be nice if people did not trash it. The road trails seriously need to be worked on. People need to have more Respect for the Environment. Carry your Trash Out, when you leave!

Lovely little park, very simple dry-camp with 4 covered picnic tables and two valt-toilets. There are so many bird species utilizing the lush spring growth right on the river. And don't get me started on the spring wildflower blooms and their beautiful pollinators (butterflies!) I stayed Saturday and Sunday over Easter weekend and didn't have much company except some evening fishermen and an occasional drive-through lookie-loo. As is too often the case, this site seems to be a local dumping ground. I found tires, paint cans, diapers, and plenty of metal that tells the tail of generations of disrespect. Suffice to say, it was difficult to nab a few pictures without including the refuse. Sad, sad, sad.

Iron Bridge Park is a good place that is off the beaten path. There are restrooms, picnic benches and it looks like the fishing would be great. I stopped through here by simple happenstance and will more than likely come again in the future. I enjoyed the visit, but there was a copious amount of trash in a few spots. Please pick up after yourselves, all that litter pollutes and is a blight on an otherwise nice area!
