It's a fairly nice little park. There are some picnic tables and a track for walking. The place is always clean although some inconsiderate pet owners don't clean up after their dogs. Could be improved by adding a restroom and a drinking fountain. Fairly nice place for birders. You don't want to be there after dark because the druggies and creepers come out.

I noticed two different days and time this man is ALWAYS walking his dog. I'm not much a dog lover anymore. But why let your dog poop on the trail line ( use poop bags) when you have so much grass away from where we as a community come to workout or our children enjoy the trail walk just as well. Be responsible with your pet and respectful most of all . The seating is nice some shade some direct in the sun great for tanning. I like the softball field but i might be wrong but i didn't see a restroom. I might not be right i will let you know once i go back for my next workout.

I love this city park in my neighborhood, I do wish they were more lit for safety as I have fallen in the past, I am appreciative that they are repairing the sidewalks to help with that also!

This park is nothing more than an open field that is mostly weeds next to Tennyson school with a couple of old basketball goals, a walking path and a baseball field that I'm not sure is even used. The Waco Parks and Recreation website claims it has a skatepark, but I never saw it. The skatepark that doesn't exist is the only reason we drove out there from the China Spring area. You would think with all the extra taxes the city gets from inflated property values they could at least have accurate information on their website. Or better yet, provide more skateparks in this town. They sure won't provide anything for us in China Spring, but they never fail to take more and more property taxes every year from us that are supposed to pay for things like parks.
