A very clean, active and open park. Basketball court, splash pad, field for football or soccer practice, walking trail, and more space for any sport available. It’s always clean, full of laughter and kids galore. Free parking, easy to fill up though, wish more parking spots. Nestled next to a busy road. No restrooms at this location. Walking trail is nice and on concrete. Little stops along the way with activities for both children and adults. A great park. People walk their pets, more than enough room to pass on the sidewalk.

One of our favorite places to bring kids for splash park, free lunch during the summer, peaceful and always plenty of kids for our kids to make friends and have a nice day at the park. Friendly and decently sized , workout equipment and basketball/tennis courts.

The splash pad here is awesome! It’s small, but diverse. Perfect for cooling off and running around. The playground is partly shaded, so my 2 year old enjoyed that. We did notice there are not any restrooms and not many places to sit and watch your kids, I would recommend bringing a lawn chair.

Parks & Rec. great job adding more trash bins it seems to have helped a lot...theres still some trash here and there but thats the people not you guys. A whole lot better than before and we came back to enjoy! Previous review: Super cute park but cleanliness is a definite issue. Please take pride people and keep parks clean for our kids and yourself. Waco Parks & Recreation maybe add more trash bins since this is clearly a busy park for parties. 3 is not enough for around the seating area and people don't realize when a trashcan is full. Spent a few minutes picking up trash that was on playground. Disappointing. Kids didn't want to leave so I picked up some more trash smh. While picking up found so many cigarette buds, beer caps and blunts...like come on.....until park can remain clean will make trip to are usual Hewitt park.
