Went to them to replace 2 lower control arms on my Nissan Leaf. Before any work was done they told me that the one lower control arms that damaged might not be the only damage. They sent me a video with all the other damage, of course the price quoted was more due to more parts and labor. I feel price was reasonable and the car was ready very quickly.

Unfortunately spent 350 without resolution here after being assured that the mechanic was extremely familiar with my car/manufacturer. I brought in my vehicle that was having issues and I was on a road trip. I asked for my car to be brought back to working order and promptly, if possible. I was informed spark plugs seemed to be why the cylinders were misfiring and was told it'd be 350 for the service and they could have me out of there in about two hours (waiting for the car to cool and spark plugs to arrive). After "service," the car wasn't starting still, and I was told cylinder 1 had no pressure/compression and there was nothing they could do there, and taking it to the dealership was the best bet. Upon the dealership's service and diagnostic, I learned that cylinder 1 did have compression/pressure and the spark plugs were not related to the issue with the vehicle. And if I were doing spark plugs the price should have been 100-200 at the most from most mechanics. (Not the dealership) All in all I was overcharged for a service not needed to resolve the issue with my vehicle, and had to go elsewhere after a lot of time and money was spent. Update: direct response was "we could've charged you for more stuff (that we did incorrectly) but didn't and we were working on your car for over 3 hours and don't redline your car" which is not something I did or was doing on this road trip (mpg was 35 when I brought my vehicle in due to me coasting my the whole trip). And car was just sitting there for about 2 hours as it needed to cool down before the spark plugs were to be replaced.

On August 26th 2024, at noon I arrived at L& D Automotive located at 2432-A Robinson Dr. for a complete all wheel brake replacement service. My initial interaction with the Bill the auto shop receptionist was spot on, he was professional, and knowledgeable in regards to my specific repair needs. I brought in my pre-ordered front and rear brake kit and the service personnel installed them with no problem. However, the reason I gave four stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ instead of (5) is because after installing my brakes and just prior to releasing my car keys back to me right at closing time, Bill informed me that my brakes WILL NOT perform properly and I would have to pump my brake pedal every time I had to come to a complete stop 🛑, he told me the reason for this was because my Brake Master Cylinder is not functioning properly and needs to be replaced. Well, as you can imagine, this news was devastating to hear especially after paying so over $400.00 For a complete brake service. I tell you that on my way home from the shop I almost crashed into a vehicle 🚗 in front of me on three different occasions that same day, due to L & D Automotive releasing my car back to me where my braking power went from 80% stoppage before bringing my vehicle to L & D Automotive to just under 10% stoppage power when I first entered onto the roadway after leaving L & D Automotive shop.

Bill Is a great guy who has only the most upmost respect for his customers. His communication while my car was getting done was immaculate. He helped me with all the needs with my car and was super knowledgeable about everything I asked. Big thank you to this man. If anyone needs anything done, please consider him!

It looks sketchy at first but I recommend! Honest mechanics! I appreciated how Bill took the time to explain everything that was done with my brakes and why it was important. He also did this is a non-condensing, and easy to understand way. They even squeezed my job in on a busy day and had it done fairly quickly.
