Visited L&L Hawaiian Barbecue for lunch (dine-in). Total cost was approximately $50 for two people. Restaurant has a broad menu selection. Wait time for food was approximately 10–15 minutes. Order taking was slightly delayed due to staff fulfilling a large catering order at the time. Staff acknowledged the delay and apologized. Ordered the Lava Chicken with rice and macaroni salad. Chicken was hot, well seasoned, and prepared properly. Rice and macaroni salad were standard. Also ordered the Musubi Trio. All three musubi selections were good. Portion sizes were adequate. Restaurant interior was clean. Thai Tea beverage was ordered and met expectations. Dining room was empty during the visit.

We were able to try multiple plates during our visit. The loco moco was decent, but unfortunately the other dishes lacked flavor. The steak, macaroni salad, shrimp, fish and teriyaki chicken were all pretty bland and didn’t stand out at all. The portions were also very small especially considering the price. It felt like there really wasn’t much food on the plates. As for the service, it was just okay. The cashier was polite, but the overall atmosphere didn’t feel very attentive, especially since they weren’t busy at the time. There was music playing on one side of the room but not the other, which made the dining experience feel a bit unbalanced and not well thought out. Overall, I would rate this place a 3 out of 5. It wasn’t terrible, but it definitely didn’t meet expectations.

My husband and I are going to make the L&L BBQ Teriaki bowl a regular part of our life! The portion of chicken was generous and delicious, and they switched out the rice for a salad, which we prefer! And the pineapple-coconut smothie was delicious. Loved our meal! Healthy and tasty!
