I was surprised to spend $20 on two burritos, one 9-inch and one 6-inch. They were good, but definitely a tad overpriced. It’s a little quaint building that could use some updated decor to make it feel more cozy and inviting. The food was good, but the price point and atmosphere left me feeling like the experience could use a little more.

Stopped here on a Sunday, very busy. We decided to order and wait for a table to open up….just be aware chips and salsa are $4.50, so get when you order if you want….we both got tortas. Or should I say mini-tortas…smh! All the the other dishes online look fantastic…imo, don’t get the torta…. j/s

Visited Waco during Mother's Day weekend and had an amazing time at Lolita's! Not only was the food fresh and delicious, but the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Even fellow diners were friendly when they heard I was visiting from out of town and made sure I knew all the places to visit in town. Definitely worth the drive from out of town! Will be craving the Elephante and their chips & queso now!!

Searching for the best breakfast tacos in Waco, and Lolita’s was at the top of many lists. I had a chorizo/ potato/ egg as well as my go-to bean/egg/cheese. The beans are perfect here with that bacon grease flavor. Nice melty cheese. The “potatoes” are French fries which is kinda disappointing. Tasted the salsa which was top tier. A little too thin for the tacos (especially eating in the car) but I bet it’s amazing with some chips.

“Family owned and operated” … but they seem to operate worse than a national franchise.. Their breakfast burritos are pretty good, don’t get me wrong - but they are sketchy and unable to give a direct response when it comes to their inconsistent pricing. We’ve gotten the same 2 burritos (basic sausage/egg/cheese & a elephante with no beans) with 2 regular fountain drinks and every time the price we’ve paid has been different. Their ‘website’ (which is just their public facebook page) states burritos are 4.50$ with cheese for extra .50$. Somehow 2 burritos and 2 drinks equals 27$ at this price? Asked for a receipt, got a stub with no breakdown of what we paid. Asked the guy in the drive thru what their prices were - mind you he just got done charging my card - yet he could not tell me how much the burritos were “but started around 9$”?? What do you mean starts at? You knew what my burrito had, but you don’t know how much you charged me? The burritos aren’t even big enough to account for 9$ burritos - there are PLENTY of other places locally with bigger/better burritos at that price! When I called out their website states a completely different pricing - I was met with a rude lady in the background yelling “we don’t have a website”.. but your google listing YOU MANAGE takes you to a Facebook page which has a pinned post with your menu from oct 2025, so yea - there is a website that you are advertising as being public and factual. So you should remove the incorrect pricing so your customers know what they are paying for. In today’s world - good food does not mean you can do whatever sketchy under table pricing moves you want. I hope y’all take the time to accurately reflect your pricing for transparency, and teach your employees some basic customer service skills. Also ensure the people taking customers money know what they are actually charging people.
