Such an amazing space. 7 of us fit perfectly. The details are incredible. Just a lovely place to stay. Host was extremely helpful. A little out of the way which is good if you want quiet. That trains can be distracting and I hear Space-X tests rocket engines nearby. Just be forewarned. Otherwise, it's a nice, quiet, and simply wonderful place to stay.

We stayed at the Magnolia house in the middle of June. I cannot tell you how wonderful the home was - you truly should rent it out and see for yourself. The exterior was beautiful and so welcoming. The inside was everything we had hoped it would be. It was clean and so very beautiful. The bedding was the most comfortable we had ever slept on. It was very well done and very cozy. They had sweet rolls and orange juice for us. The home also had plenty of coffee. This was the best vacation rental we have ever stayed at. It is well worth it -- we highly recommend you go!

We scheduled this trip back in October of 2020. It was a Christmas present for our family and we were looking forward to a bed and breakfast. Apparently new management took over the week were arriving. We were never told that it would no longer be a bed and breakfast. They tried to substitute a breakfast with some danishes and cheap wine, we had to find our own breakfast that morning. The TV did not work in the rooms either. I have heard a lot of great things about this place, but so far the new owners are batting 0. They should have given us the option to opt out, hired someone to cook, or offered to use the money that we paid for a breakfast to buy our breakfast somewhere else since they could not provide it. We weren't offered a refund or anything. Just sent home with a bottle of cheap wine.

Stayed over the 4th of July weekend. Town was very busy and Terri and Jennifer made every effort to make our weekend awesome. Room was fabulous, breakfast every morning was even better. My wife and I eat out very often and can say this was some of the best food we have had in years. Conversations in the morning with other quests and Terri/Jennifer made for a great start to our days. Little things like a to go bag with snacks and water at 5am for a fishing trip, putting ice out in the evening for a late night cocktail show the attention to detail Magnolia house represents. Thank you again for a wonderful weeks stay. Definitley will make this our to go spot when we stay in oriental.

Had the opportunity to stay at the Magnolia House back in February; what an amazing experience! The hype surrounding this "rental" does NOT do it justice. Joanne has thought out every detail to make your experience here top-notch. It all begins with its caretakers, Marianne and her husband Rob, they are truly the epitome of hospitality. The home is drop-dead gorgeous in every detail. Comfortable in design and stocked with lots of goodies to make you feel welcome. Open the door and you are enveloped with a sense of calm that makes you want to sit, kick back and relax, and enjoy the company of your family as if you had not seen them in awhile. The BEST experience ever!
