This art museum is a lively little space with several rambling rooms. When I visited the galleries were divided into two separate exhibits and an art studio room geared toward kids. The gallery shares a building with the art, art history, and theater departments, along with a large performance hall. It was a bit difficult to find visitor parking close enough for a hundred degree day, though the science museum is just across the main street.

A nice, small gallery, perfect for walking through when you have some time to kill and are interested. Definitely stop by, the student works on display are all wonderful and they usually have a special exhibit for the season. There's no cost of admission and the special exhibits are usually authentic, not replicas. One of the best art museums in Waco, despite its' humble size. This is my review, so I'll say that I think it's just the right size. Plenty to see if you know where to look, and not so much to see that you exhaust yourself and don't get to finish what else you want to do.

I want to start by saying that the art was absolutely lovely. That’s where the positivity ends. The woman working at the desk was quite rude when I tried to take a photo of a painting. It is not posted anywhere inside the galleries about no photography. She needs to work on her ability to work with the public and possibly her ability to be a nice human. I traveled two hours to come here today, and I will not be back not that it matters.

It isn’t the kind of art museum you might think. It’s actually for the Baylor Art students pieces of art. I really don’t recommend this place if you are wanting to see art. There isn’t much in there.
