Natural Bridge Caverns is one of our family’s favorite attractions in the San Antonio area, and we have made it a tradition to visit every year. Every trip feels a little different because the water levels inside the caverns can change depending on the season, which makes each visit unique. If you are visiting for the first time, the Discovery Tour is an absolute must. The guided walk takes about an hour and showcases some of the most impressive formations in the cave system while providing interesting history and geology along the way. One thing I appreciate about Natural Bridge Caverns is that there are multiple tour options available, allowing visitors to choose an experience that fits their interests and activity level. The ticket prices are fair considering everything you get to experience, although costs can add up quickly for larger families or groups. Even so, we have always felt the experience was worth it. The fun does not stop when you leave the caverns. The outdoor area is well designed and provides plenty of space for kids to run around, play, and relax after the tour. There is also a large maze, an impressive zipline attraction, and a well-stocked souvenir shop that keeps everyone entertained for hours. The overall venue is clean, family-friendly, and easy to navigate. Whether you are a local looking for a fun day trip or a visitor exploring San Antonio, Natural Bridge Caverns offers a memorable experience for all ages. It remains one of the best family attractions in the area, and we look forward to returning every year.

Omg. For anyone who wants to feel and experience the wonders of the world in their backyard, you need to come here. I was left in awe and it was helpful to have the guide that we had. I believe her name was Desiree. She was so funny and tried her best to answer our questions. We had a great experience. The gift shops were great and well stocked with post cards and stickers. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to go back and check out the other attractions and cavern with my kiddos.

Natural Bridge Caverns located near San Antonio is the best Caverns in Texas. It's been 15 years since I have toured the Caverns and grounds. I brought my daughter here over 20 years ago and this time I bought my 12 year old grandson. He loved it. The Caverns temperature is 70⁰ with 90% humidity so it feels like 80⁰ This trip was unique, because for the past month July 2026, with all the rain and flooding in the local hill country, the trinity aquifer, filled the caverns up to 55ft. It was such a beautiful sight to see. I posted photos and videos. They have updated the walkways with led lighting and light controls to help the guided tour host point out the formations of stalagmites, stalagtites, soda straws, ribbons and more. The Discovery tour last for about an hour and 15 minutes. There are two tours both are guided with knowledgeable guides. The Caverns is a great tour for just about anyone except those who have weaknesses and walking impairments. Anyone who enjoys nature, history, geology and photography this is for you. The only negative is you have to pay $10 to park and at the beginning of the tour the guide takes a photo of your group to sale you a $35 photo package at the end of the tour. Be sure to wear non-slip footwear.

Natural Bridge Caverns is an amazing experience! The underground world is absolutely breathtaking and fascinating. We walked for quite a while and discovered so many interesting things and stories along the way. Even getting back up is convenient, with an escalator to make the climb easy. A wonderful place to visit with family and kids—fun, educational, and truly memorable! ⭐️

We visited during a trip to San Antonio. The caverns are about 35ish minutes from downtown SA. The staff was very friendly and they had food/snacks available for purchase. There was seating both inside and outside. We did both the Discovery Tour and the Hidden Wonders tour. The Discovery Tour was the most physically rigorous. (But still not bad if you are in decent shape) There were benches strategically placed for anyone who needed to rest. We are from KY so we are used to Mammoth Cave where it is nice a cool. Just a heads up, the caverns are much warmer with about 99% humidity so dress accordingly.
