Such a wonderful park but wish the bathrooms had soap in them.

We were visiting from San Antonio. Our cousin recommended the splash pad and it was just what we needed. I use a wheelchair full time and could get on the playground with our daughter and also get on the splash pad. Women’s restroom was relatively clean

I grew up going to this part of Cameron Park but hadn't been in at least 10 years Wow! It's beautiful! Lots of nice people out with kids and pets enjoying the natural beauties of Waco. I still wouldn't trust the bathrooms.

So even though I liked the park and the area it was definitely to much bush in regards to fish I keep getting stuck in bushes so I gave up and the most disturbing part to me is this Mexican guy was really on some weird some stuff trying to hide in the dark behind trees and stuff then kept trying to get closer and closer to me then ask me if I'm okay then go hide in the dark watching me again and then I catch him staring at me while hiding behind a tree /dark again n I was just over it and I came by myself it was definitely an uncomfortable feeling fa me so I just went ahead n left cause I was live on tik tok and my viewers also saw what saw n was like yeah just leave its not safe so

I have been living in Central Texas for 6 years and it's amazing to see how the Cameron/Pecan Parks have transformed. The parks are well maintained and policed by the locals/law enforcement. Pecan Bottoms Park is at the base of Cameron Zoo and for you fitness freaks give Jacob's Ladder a visit, I promise that your quads will thank you! Pecan Bottoms is located directly on the Brazos river and next to miles of well developed hiking and biking trails. You can literally walk/bike/run/boat the trails from Baylor University through downtown Waco to McLennan County Community College. There's not a shortage of friendly personalities. On any given weekend you can see retirees, medieval cosplayers, frisbee golfers, collegiate track teams, rowing teams, and picnics galore. Pecans Bottoms has great access to plenty of amenities and is littered with an eclectic selection of arts, monuments, and statues. So once you finish your workout or get tired from watching other people exercise, go to downtown Waco and some social libations. I look forward to seeing you there!
