A Blast from the Past! I sat in a bar at the Hilton with one way glass and beautiful woodwork. I sat there and discussed a child that would disappear on the farm but two people always knew where she was. They always found her in a field far from the house. I had a wonderful time sitting down with Gerald and George. Unfortunately Bill and Jr could not sit down with us. They had "things to do!" H.W. is a great storyteller, he hooks yah, and you're caught. That's why we got along. Came from the same cloth, in that aspect. March 1996

Honestly, you can't get to this place! This is (was) President Bush's "western white house" when he was in office. We were in Crawford and McGregor and thought, "hey, let's go see where the president lives!" Well, after a long country road and no cell signal, you're stopped with guard gates and Secret Service. So, we politely waved and turned around. Oh well, it was a long shot!

I live in the next little country/suburban area. 30 minutes away from the ranch. Looking back, that was kinda cool and exciting when he flew over in Marine One heading to his ranch. We always knew when he came to town. And when he left. Most exciting thing that has happened in these parts EVER!

Just re-watched the video of President Bush picking up Jay Leno in his truck at this ranch. GW was a solid leader through 911 and the war on terror. 👍🏼
