I recently stayed here due to a family emergency involving my sister. What I thought would be a one‑week stay turned into several extensions as her condition changed. When she ultimately took a turn for the worse and we lost her, I had to remain even longer.
From the very beginning, the entire staff was exceptional. The GM, Mr. Patel, along with JJ, Karen, Nico, Thomas, Donna, and the entire housekeeping team, showed kindness, patience, and genuine compassion throughout my stay. They worked with me through every extension and supported me during one of the hardest moments of my life. Their empathy and professionalism were unmatched.
Because of them, I will absolutely stay here again. Their care made all the difference.

The staff is very helpful.
Bring your own pillows. The pillows in the room need to be stacked three high to get any support. The king bed was hard and uncomfortable. We had to book a chiropractor and massage appointment. The swimming pool was to cold. Multiple people would get out and leave within seconds.

I’ve been traveling for four days and have stayed in a different hotel each night. I had the choice of staying here and driving three hours the next day to my intended destination, or drive 1.5 hours to cut the distance in half by the evening and be at a different hotel. The price for what you get is unbeatable and I chose to stay another night.
It’s at the first exit (north bound) into Waco proper. Easy to get to from the highway. Pilot and another gas station next door are within walking distance if you need to go to a convenience store late in the evening.
The hotel staff are quiet, polite and relaxed. My room was clean, and finally I’m in a hotel that didn’t smell like smoke. The bathroom was nice and neat, also nicely folded towels felt extra effort was made. My room faced out on the street so traffic noise was noticeable. I’d recommend they change to double pane glass to help with this. I was able to sleep anyway. The blinds were nice and dark for sleeping during the daytime and the a/c was almost too cold (no complaints here.)
The complementary breakfast wasn’t spectacular but covered the basics. Include bananas please.
Down the hall are vending machines and large ice maker as well as a water fountain that can refill water bottles. Nice!
In a pinch I needed to use the printer. I was pleasantly surprised to find not only were there two computers at their business center, the printer worked seamlessly with my phone. Another guest came in but I didn’t need to worry about sharing a desktop.
It’s been a pleasant stay so far and I plan to come back and book this hotel the next time I’m in town.

We were disappointed in our stay after reading all of the glowing reviews. This hotel is old, which is fine, but it is in desperate need of a facelift. It feels very dated and dingy. The staff is very nice, though and the location is convenient.
The first room we checked into smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. The manager was super nice and helpful and got us a new room very quickly, which was awesome. He assured me the hotel is non smoking, but I grew up in a smokers home and it was very obvious. He did move us with no problem though, which I appreciated.
We stayed in a king suite and it was clean, but again, very dated. The linens on the bed were dirty and stained and we had to get clean ones from the guy at the desk. When we asked for more pillows, he said they didn’t have any. The front room was very hot and the AC blew cold air, but it was somehow very humid in the room the entire time which was uncomfortable. The bathroom was small and the toilet takes up most of the space, plus it didn’t have a lid which, to me, is gross.
The indoor pool is nice but the water was very very cold. Breakfast was nice. The staff were all very friendly. The location right off the highway is convenient. Overall, our stay was just mediocre at best, uncomfortable at worst. I do appreciate the staff and added a star for them. I hate to give a low review but our experience did not line up with all the glowing reviews.

No housekeeping unless requested. I asked for clean towels. They were delivered to the desk just inside our door. Dirty towels were left on the floor. Since she didn't enter the bathroom, she missed the tip I'd left on the counter.
I wasn't dissatisfied at all!! Sorry I failed to mention the delicious hot breakfast each morning, friendly & helpful staff, spotless common areas... We usually go to Florida or on a cruise, so I was disappointed that I wouldn't see palm trees -- and look what met me at the entrance!!😃
