In the heart of Waco is a surprising little gems Red Herring. I went for a girls’ weekend and everything was simply perfect. The crudo was fresh, delicate, and flavorful. The babaganoush had great flavor, texture, and not overpowering. The service was impeccable, drinks delicious and memorable, and chill, chic vibes. I highly recommend!

An intimate dining experience in a 1920s atmosphere. The tapas were fabulous. The flavors rich yet subtle, layered without overpowering. Our server was passionate about the menu and ambience heightening our dinner. Hubs was amazed by the tiramisu brownie even though he doesn’t like coffee….

My first experience (celebratingt birthday) was absolutely delightful! Our server and gentleman was Scottie!!! He was a vibe, so engaging and knowledgeable. He answered our questions made recommendations that HIT! And then there’s the “lone bartender” serving house cocktails that were perfection….our meal selections were everything, so fresh, flavorful, and filling!! The eclectic atmosphere keeps you in euphoria your entire visit. A must stop.

Food is fantastic. Got the Hanger Steak, Crab Cakes, and a Caesar Salad. It was all perfect. Best Caesar salad I've had, maybe ever. The steak was cooked too a perfect medium rare.

Christina took great care of us during dinner on the holiday. She made excellent recommendations and helped make a menu that felt a little intimidating at first much easier to navigate. Everything we ordered was really good and seasoned well. The atmosphere was spot on too—the music, volume, and decor all made for a really enjoyable dinner. I’d recommend making a reservation, though it wasn’t absolutely necessary when we went. We’ll definitely be back.
