We made a long weekend trip to Waco for some rest and to visit family. There were lots of folks in the park but there was plenty of space and privacy for all of us. This park has lots of shaded spots, even for larger RV rigs. Or site was paved and level side to side and end to end. The shower house/bathrooms could use more daily attention but served their purposes.

I stayed in the equestrian rv parking, it was a beautiful spot. I can't say enough good things about Nacho and Amber the attending staff. They over exceeded any expectations I would have had of any park management with their kindness and thoughtfulness. I will say the same about the park Rangers. It is a very quiet and peaceful park. I stayed alone and felt very safe.

We just finished staying here for a couple weeks. It has some really nice sites and beautiful lake views. Campground was very quiet most of the time. The hosts, Nacho and Amber, were fantastic. Looking forward to another stay in the future

Not our best experience. I wish I would’ve checked the spot out before I booked it. Spot 35 (the entire loop) is a perfect steep drop if you step toward the trees. My husband tumbled down the hill (it wasn’t cuter he still is 💕). The driveway is short, it was shaded and the area was a decent size. There’s only a grill,no fire pit. Sadly for us, it rained the entire weekend. Pretty much all day every day. There’s a bathroom in the next loop so please don’t be in a hurry to get there because it’s not very close. Count slowly as it walk. We did not have access to the water. We saw the park ranger drive through once or twice. He may have driven by more but we were outside and didn’t really see him.

There’s 2 bathrooms and one was falling apart. The lady was in cleaning and I watched her. She moves the trashcan without emptying it and stood there a minute never one cleaning anything. You can’t shower. The water is so hot it will burn your skin off. No cold water. As for our site, the mosquitos win. Look at pictures of my car. Those are mosquitos.
