Southern View Classic Course

What a great place. A friend an I went today and WOW, we had a blast! We started off at the Pro shop as you need to sign in but when we walked in we were greeted by a very nice lady and wall to wall of a great disc selection for sale, NEW AND USED!! I grabbed a new MVP and was gifted a used disc as well from the owner. The shot variety was amazing and I loved the hanging basket and they also had one elevated on a 2 step tower for the last hole. I came into town for a week and wanted to play all the Waco courses and this popped up and we had to play it. We were the only ones there at the time but had a blast! Will definitely be coming back!

Great course, private property (no walkers or other typical park traffic). Awesome selection in the pro shop. New, used and everything you might need or want. Layout changes regularly giving you a new layout and challenges. Always a great time.

A privately-owned disc golf course that feels like a vacation destination. I’ve been throwing at SVCC for a little over a year now and I’ve greatly benefited from the friendships and activities (leagues, tournaments) SVCC offers. The course is truly a unique Texas course with some engaging layouts (forward and reverse). It’s clean, family friendly, easy to navigate, spacious and out in the beautiful area of Lorena. The Pro Shop is well stocked and overseen by friendly, helpful staff. They even have an older dog named Zeus who loves to hang around and meet people. If you’re wondering where your next disc golf stop should be, look no further. Southern View Classic Course has everything a disc golfer needs for a great time.

If you love disc golf, you need to come play here. PEACEFUL - no public park walkers like all the other local courses, fun layout, alternate tees, easy access, and a fun little community of folks running the joint. Cool discs in the pro shop. I somehow lived in Waco 3 years before I discovered it, but it has quickly become my favorite place to spend an evening throwing a round. I enjoyed myself so much I never even thought to snap a photo. Maybe I’ll update my review later with some good memories 😉

Was in Waco for the day and decided to drive out and check the place out. Unfortunately couldn’t play their courses but they looked sick! Did some shopping in their shop and was welcomed by the friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered. They were thrilled to have me in and made me feel very welcomed. Disc selection was great and ended up picking up a few discs. It was just an awesome environment and everyone was all smiles. Since then I’ve ordered a few off their website and shipping is always fast. Owner and employees were awesome and super helpful, not to mention the sweetest pup roaming around. 10/10, would recommend to anyone and will always make an effort to stop by when in the area.
