Truly an authentic texas BBQ restaurant. Brisket and chicken were tender and moist, sausage was very good as well. Also didn’t cost an arm and leg, like some other places charge. $20 and some change for a 2 meat plate with 2 sides and a drink. An older restaurant on the inside but don’t let it scare you!

My husband and I were otr drivers and he told me we had to stop at the best bbq place he had ever been. He was telling the absolute truth. We have never gotten anything bad there. The meat is always so flavorful and tender. The sides are great. They also have amazing homemade desserts. Definitely worth stopping in.

We ordered the three-meat plate to share — brisket, turkey, and sausage — with jalapeño beans, cole slaw, plenty of fixins, and Texas toast. The portions were generous… more than enough for both of us, and we were left completely satisfied. The brisket was tender and flavorful, the turkey was juicy, and the sausage had great seasoning with just the right kick. The sides were just as impressive, especially the jalapeño beans. I forgot to take a “before” photo, but the empty container says it all — the food was that good. We’ll definitely be back!

Was told this place was good. They did not give them justice. This place is amazing with or with out the BBQ.sauce. Turkey taste like smoked Turkey. The ribs are divine, the brisket was fantastic, the regular sausage as was recommended was superb. Let not for get the spicy bean. Oh my word, and the color greens. YUMMMMY! Yet can not forget the Italian cream cake, the upside down pineapple cake,and the German cake. I had to take a bite out of each one. Becouse the BBQ was so good. Was no room for any one piece, so tried bite of all three. Like said this place is wonderful and if you leave hungry it your own fault...
