Sadly had a rough experience with them this last time I went there. Charged significantly more than quoted and delivery was over 8 hours late. Cant recommend them.

If you are from out of state, don't bother going to the Waco location. They will only rent to you if you have a Texas driver license which is very unfriendly for military members. Not that big of a deal if they would tell you over the phone, but they won't. They'll let you reserve equipment and then turn you away once you drive to the store. Store employees won't offer any assistance, just saying that it's a 'company policy' or blame their district manager. It's definitely not a company policy, as any other Sunbelt rental I've reached out to will rent. Rent from the location in Austin, much better customer service.

Rented a floor drum sander to re-do hardwood floors. The sales associate asked if I needed anything else, I said no. The sales associate failed to mention that I needed a sand paper drum to place on the machine. Now, a 18" section of my floor has 1/8" gouges in it. Returned the machine and the sales associate implied that it was my fault for not knowing that I needed the sandpaper drum. Another example of people not caring about their customers.

If I could give zero stars I would. This was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. Not only they are changing parts on your rental agreement because it is the "local" company policy they are also adding materials because of "local" company policy. They charged me $8.50 for a strap even I brought my own straps. And on top of that they are just rude. Signs when you enter the premises are clearly stating to stay in your car and wait until assistance. Then they get rude and frustrated if you follow that. During the coupling of the trailer the guy who brought the trailer told me he gets the coupler connected to the ball and the next second when he drives the trencher on the trailer the trailer flips up and nearly destroys the back of my car because the it wasn't secured to the ball. And on top of that this guy still gets annoyed even it was clearly his fault. Definitely the worst customer experience possible. This was the first and the last time I rented from the "local" Sunbelt Rentals. Hopefully United Rentals does a better job for the big project I'm going to work on next month. Sunbelt definitely will not get my money again. At least I hope that their national customer service is doing better. Complaint was sent. We will see. Stay safe out there everyone.
