We have eaten a lot of Texas BBQ over the years but Terry Black's is at the top of the list. The beef rib and brisket were moist and flavorful. However, it was the jalapeño and cheese sausage that impressed us. I'm not even a sausage fan but theirs is in a league by itself: moist with the right amount of cheese and spice. The potatoe salad is the perfect mix of dill, mayo, and spices; it reminds me of the red potatoe ranch recipe. The cream corn is a sweet treat. I dont recommend the coleslaw as it doesn't have much flavor at all. The staff was great, helping us make our choices. I appreciate that the menu was labeled clearly to ensure I could choose gluten free items easily.

Tried the “Texas Trio”—ribs, brisket and sausage with mac & cheese and banana pudding. Overall, it was very good. The ribs were the best; meaty and tender. The brisket seemed a little dry and the sausage was a bit greasy for my taste. The mac wasn’t cheesy enough for me but the pudding finished the meal nicely.

Had an amazing experience at Terry Black’s Barbecue! The atmosphere was great — very down-home and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, and the prices were right on point for the quality and portion sizes. We got to watch them slice the brisket fresh, which was impressive by itself, but what really stood out was learning that they save all the trimmed pieces and turn them into sausage so nothing goes to waste. You can really tell they take pride in what they do. We were also told the brisket rests for 24 hours, and it definitely showed in the flavor and tenderness. A huge shoutout to Chewy, the pitmaster, who was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. He even gave us a tour of the pit area and explained the BBQ process. You can tell he truly loves what he does. The sandwich was huge, the mac and cheese was incredibly tasty, and the customer service made the whole visit even better. Everyone was welcoming and friendly from start to finish. Would absolutely give this place 10 stars if I could. Highly recommend!

Hands down the best BBQ we've ever had...next to my brother in laws. The brisket was mouthwatering and the Dino rib so tender and flavorful. The restaurant was charming. You won't be disappointed to eat here.

Food was delicious! Starting with the sides; they had a varitey of sides to chose from for everyone's taste. Next is the meats, they had your tradicional bbq picks; brisket, sauage, ribs, and chopped meat sandwiches. Place has a fun setting and decor, almost as a barn feel. They offer inside and patio sitting.
