We saw a bridge driving in but nobody could tell us what it might be. So I told Google to take us to the nearest bridge and we ended up at this magnificent interpretive site - one of the nicest I’ve ever seen. Learned a lot about the area and Texas. Watch out to make sure you’re not standing on an ant nest though.

Beautiful walking path for a sunset or day walk. Very peaceful and detailed architecture. Our family enjoyed going for a walk and listening to the spring. We took a walk after the kids played on the playground. There is a wheelchair ramp. It would be great if the city updates the history information signs since they are faded. We were visiting town, and I’m glad we stopped.

Beauty is a virtue and this place is a prime example why that is. This preserve is not only stunning but It has a rich history of what big springs and west Texas was built on, there an energy of the past that lingers here, a must visit if you’re in the area.

Big Spring is a very cute town. Right on I 20. The springs are a very interesting historic site. There's a nice trail to walk along the spring.
