Absolutely ridiculous experience. My group walked in because the place was completely dead and we figured we’d give it a shot. Huge mistake. The bouncer took one look at my friend’s ID photo from when he was 16 years old and decided it was his opportunity to be a complete asshole. Instead of simply checking the ID like a professional, he started making comments about how my friend had gained too much weight since the photo was taken. News flash: people don’t look the same at 22 as they did in high school. The fact that a grown man working the door thinks it’s acceptable to humiliate customers over their appearance is embarrassing. Even more embarrassing is that management allows someone with that attitude to represent their business. When your establishment is empty and you’re actively driving away paying customers, maybe the problem isn’t the customers. I’ve lived in Waco for over 20 years, and I’ve never seen such a pathetic display of customer service. We left immediately, and we’ll make sure our friends do the same. If you’re looking for a place with rude staff, a bouncer on a power trip, and absolutely no understanding of how to treat people, you’ve found it.
