I was invited for my niece's birthday. I wasn't informed about a band playing. I was charged $10 cover charge. The brown haired girl couldn't tell me why until I asked if there's a band playing. When I asked, "Is there anything else I should know about?", she stayed quiet. A guy walked by saying he wasn't charged a cover charge. I left that situation alone. I ordered pizza, chips & queso, with a drink. I had it placed on a table with my jacket and backpack. I asked a few people if they were charged a cover charge and they said no. There was much going on. I was happy to explore and enjoying the music. I told the server with a name beginning with an "H" that I was going to explore and to please leave everything alone at my table. When I left to look around the place and returned, my chips, queso, and drink was thrown away. However, my pizza was still at the table in its box. Of all the places that I've been in, I don't recall anyone throwing away a customer's food without the server asking if the customer was done, or, there wasn't any evidence of someone at the table. My jacket and backpack were still on the chair. I couldn't find the server and left because I had to get an Uber home. The next day I found a charge that I didn't approve. I called and spoke to Tina regarding the matter. She claimed that there was a sign at the bar stating that if I didn't close my tab they have the right to add 30% gratuity and close the bill. She claimed that there was social media that stated a band was performing that night. She apologized for the inconvenience and hung up. Wow!
