Torchy's Tacos

I go to Torchy’s Tacos every Sunday and it’s become one of my favorite regular spots in Waco. The food and drinks are always consistently good, my go to tacos are the Brushfire and Mr. Orange, and an extra dirty Torchy’s Tini is always a solid choice. The queso card definitely keeps me coming back too. What really makes this location stand out though is the staff and management. Joey and Morgan are always hospitable, friendly, accommodating, and genuinely kind people. You can tell they care about the restaurant and the customer experience. The atmosphere is always chill and relaxed, the restaurant stays clean, and service is consistently quick even when they’re busy. It’s hard to find a place that stays this consistent week after week, but this Torchy’s location really does.

Service was quick. It was a sat night around 6pm and i ordered at kiosk and food was ready within 20 min. I got 2 baja shrimp tacos with fresh avocado which was one small slice on each taco and it was $14 which is a bit much plus the fact it asks you to tip. The tacos are small for price but really good

⭐⭐☆☆☆ I hate writing negative reviews, especially because I love Torchy’s queso, but unfortunately this location has disappointed us more than once. When we walked in, we stood at the ordering screens for several minutes while a staff member remained behind the bar on her cell phone. We waited patiently for assistance. Eventually, an employee who appeared to be cleaning the patio (which was closed at the time) came inside to take our order. Unfortunately, there was no greeting, smile, eye contact, or acknowledgment. The interaction felt more like we were interrupting her cleaning than being welcomed as customers. We even left a tip when prompted on the payment screen, but still received no thank you or any sign of appreciation. Meanwhile, the bartender remained behind the bar, and there were no customers seated there needing assistance. To add to the frustration, when I went to wash my hands, the women’s restroom had a sign stating it was closed, so I had to use the men’s restroom. What makes this especially disappointing is that we had a very similar experience on our previous visit. The employee who took our order that day was also unfriendly and unwelcoming. Good food can only make up for so much. Customer service and hospitality matter, and unfortunately this location has fallen short both times we’ve visited. I truly love Torchy’s and wish I could recommend this location, but based on our experiences, we won’t be returning. That said, I hope management addresses these issues because the food itself is still great.

Torchy's is awesome. My favorite tacos are the ones with brisket, but honestly, they're all good. Love the salsa, as well. Very quick service.

OMG y'all ROCK!!!! Walked to your restaurant after visiting the #silobration at Magnolia... fast service, super tasty food. Tasty in fact, Hubby orders a few to- go's. We opted to sit outdoors and that was comfy cozy.
