About Twin Bridges Park

Situated along North State Highway 6 in the 76712 area of Waco, Twin Bridges Park offers visitors wide open views of the lake alongside convenient outdoor amenities. Holding a 4.3-star rating from 83 Google reviews, this neat and clean public park provides an inviting stop for both local residents and travelers passing through town. While its setting directly next to a busy highway means it is not a quiet destination, the park remains an appealing spot for water recreation.

Boaters can take advantage of a large public boat ramp designed to accommodate two boaters launching at once, an area that has even hosted on-the-water training sessions for the Waco Fire Department. On the other side of the boat ramp, guests will find a dedicated beach and swimming spot to enjoy the water. For gatherings, the grounds feature a huge number of covered picnic pavilions along with clean, open restroom and shower facilities.

I come here often and usually im at thr beach on the other side of boat ramp...last time Waco FD was out doing some training on the water. Here are some of my fave photos while spending time seeking God here! I love my hometown and pray all over that the entire community woukd be flooded with the Love of Jesus Christ ❤️

Wide open view of lake, with dedicated swimming spot, and a huge number of covered picnic pavilions. The only point to complain is it’s not a quiet place as it’s literally next to a busy highway.

We had a little time to kill on our trip to Waco and decided to stop in and check out this park. It is neat and clean. It has restroom and shower facilities that were clean and open. There is a nice, large public boat ramp that can accommodate 2 boaters launching at once. On the other side of the park there are tons of bbq pit pavilions, a small beach, a small children’s park and places to fish or recreate. A very nice little public park.

It gets crowded so get there early. Grass needs to be cut. Parking is 5$ per car. Showers need to be cleaned. Swimming area needs an update and have the yellow line above water to protect swimmers better. It’s a peaceful environment, we had a great time.

Public park with a nice view of the lake and twin bridges. It has plenty of gazebos, each one with a BBQ grill. There is a beach area and a kids playground area. It was practically empty when we went (beginning of April), and we enjoyed waking around and enjoying the views.
