It’s sad I won’t be visiting a Waco staple anymore. Uncle Dan’s catered our wedding, never would I have expected to be writing this review. I Ordered the two meat plate with lean brisket and sausage. The brisket was not edible — they give you plenty of onions though. I don’t know what the deal with the potato salad was but it tasted like dirt. Just really disappointing to see something I loved so much change this drastically.

New guy to the area but not new to BBQ. The girls were unbelievably friendly and courteous and the atmosphere was clean. I ordered the Texas Tour plate to try everything and it was really good for the most part. The brisket was melt in your mouth and pepperjack sausage was also delicious. My only issue was the chicken and ribs. They were mildly dry but still full of flavor. I would highly recommend Uncle Dan's but if you want fall off the bone ribs and melt in your mouth chicken, I would try it in the evening or weekends to ensure it's fresh off the smoker. But the key sentence here is I would still highly recommend it.

Went ahead and tried it. Was good so far until I found a long black hair in my Pork Ribs. Was good until you find something like that. Shows they don’t use hairnets, or follow proper procedures. Which is completely disgusting. Will not be back.

Was in town for 2week found this spot last day was so mad only one day to eat here this bbq restaurants was the best meal I ever had highly recommended you will not be unhappy.....

Go through the drive thru and pay with a card and they hand you their payment system obligating you to tip- I feel when I don’t tip my portions are always skimpy. To go bowls are never full. This is coming from someone who eats there a few times a month. And today for the 2nd time in a row I had to put my baked potato in the oven at home and finish cooling it. Their food is too expensive for that. I think I’m done with that place. At least the Waco location is still great and much better customer service.
