Uncle Worm's Texas Cuisine

Fantastic food. Early dinner so not many people. Felt clean and bright for an “out of the way place”. Ordered Gouda Hush Puppies for appetizer. Main was Mac and Cheese with buffalo chicken on top and fries as a side. Everything was awesome. Hush puppies are handmade and perfect. You get many in the order for only $8. The buffalo sauce was excellent. Just spicy enough and mixed really well with the Mac and cheese. I’m usually hesitant about ordering mac and cheese because it never is as good as home but this mac and cheese was very good. Nice cheese and perfectly cooked noodles. Fries were great too. Can’t wait to go back. And there’s a whole “secret” second level with live music and games. Food was so good I forgot to take pictures before we dug in.

Amazing food and service. We sat at the bar and loved watching the kitchen in action. The bartender was very very attentive and had amazing recommendations. Huge portions! We’re from Tampa Florida so this was a real local feel for us. We loved it!

I attended a book club event at Uncle Worm’s, and it was such a wonderful experience. The staff made everyone feel genuinely welcome. They were friendly, accommodating, and handled a large crowd with patience and kindness. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy the evening with friends. I was impressed that they stayed open late to host our event - it really showed how much they value their customers. I’m grateful for their hospitality and will definitely be back.

Have been twice. The first time everything was good. But waitress got our ticket wrong, she corrected it. Second time, our food came out cold. They season salt their fries & onion rings so be aware. The owner is a sweetheart, hard worker.

We hosted a private event at Uncle Worm’s and had such a great experience! Our group of 45 women from Waco Babes Book Club felt so welcomed from the moment we arrived. The staff was incredibly accommodating, made our large group feel right at home, and stayed open late just for us, which meant so much. The food was great, the service was friendly, and they kept up with our crowd so well while still creating such a fun, relaxed atmosphere for the night. It’s always extra special supporting a small, family-owned local business that genuinely cares about its guests. We’re so thankful for their hospitality and can’t wait to come back!
