I want to share my experience so others know what to expect from this passport acceptance office. This is by far the worst and most incompetent passport office I have ever dealt with. The day before, I came in to process passports for my other family members. Because the appointment took much longer than expected, the staff instructed me to return the following day to complete my daughter’s passport application. My appointment was scheduled for 12:00 p.m., and I arrived at 12:03 p.m. Around 12:20 p.m., an employee named Sharon came out only to tell me that I was too late to be seen. I explained that their own office had asked me to come back that day to finish the process, but she simply walked back inside without offering any explanation or solution. After waiting for over an hour, I asked to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor was much more polite and respectful, but unfortunately told me they still would not be able to assist me. What disappointed me the most was Sharon’s attitude. She was rude, unprofessional, and told me she could not help me because she did not speak Spanish. My husband then explained the entire situation to her in English, yet she still refused to help. When I asked to speak with her supervisor, she even seemed to mock the situation by sarcastically responding that her supervisor did not speak English either. At no point did I expect to be served in Spanish. My husband communicated with her in English without any issue. What I expected was basic courtesy, professionalism, and a willingness to help—especially since it was the office itself that instructed me to return the next day to complete the application. It is extremely disappointing to encounter employees with such a lack of professionalism and customer service in a government office. People deserve to be treated with respect, regardless of the language they speak. I hope this office takes steps to improve its customer service and holds its staff accountable for the way they treat the public.

DO NOT GET YOUR PASSPORT HERE. We scheduled an appointment four weeks in advance due to decreased availability. We arrived for our appointment time, and the staff made three errors on our passport application that I had her correct before leaving. A few weeks later, I get a letter in the mail from the passport agency stating the application was completely filled out wrong by the post office. I now have to make another appointment four weeks out to be seen by another passport location to resolve the issue. I have submitted a service ticket, and spoken to three staff members at this location and the issue was not resolved. AVOID THIS LOCATION! We are now hoping our passport arrives in time for our trip.

The rudest staff I’ve ever encountered. Went here to get a new passport and the passport teller had called out sick and so they couldn’t process passports on the day of my appointment (no biggie, it happens). But the way I was treated for missing their phone call (I was at work and never saw it) and showing up at my scheduled time was disgraceful. I made an appointment at the downtown PO and they were the nicest, most accommodating people. Avoid this PO if you can! There’s better options!!!

My understanding is this is the "processing center" in Texas, just one of a few in the country according to the post office. Could you please explain why I'm paying for 1-3 days delivery for priority mail and yet, it's taking 10 days to five weeks. Currently, a priority mail piece I sent out is "lost". I sent it out in waco 4-23-26. It's now 5-29-26 and there doesn't appear to be any knowledgeable people working for the post office who can help me. That's THREE priority mail envelopes in a row ya'll have misplaced. I'm guessing ZERO LEADERSHIP.
