Victorian's Barbecue

What a local treasure! My colleague and I stopped into Victorian's BBQ for lunch. And, I have a new favorite BBQ restaurant! The brisket was amazing. Typically, brisket this tender and juicy is really fatty. So, I usually opt for lean BBQ. But, it almost always comes at the expense of being pretty tough and dry. Not Joey's brisket! It was so juicy, tender, and delicious. We only tried the Gouda Mac & Cheese and Potato for our sides as this was our first time. But, those were excellent as well! And, the banana pudding was great. But, I loved the banana pudding ice cream!!! Also, I was really impressed with the owners. The Victorians are my kind of people. It was obvious that they care about their local community and are committed to helping it thrive. I can't wait to come back again and again as I sample more their menu. You definitely have to stop and try Victorian's BBQ if you're going through Mart. And, you need to make a special trip if you are not passing through. It's that good!!!

The owner had a food truck in Houston. That had a great following, but he wanted. Something different, so 20 miles or so east of Waco. He saw a little corner building for sale. Got it fixed it up, beautiful job. And this food is absolutely incredible. The pork ribs were great !! She loved the brisket. I thought it was just a little. I don't know. It was super tender, but just wasn't quite as moist as the way i get it at other top places. Now, that's my take. You may love it that way, but I leave honest reviews. The sides were incredible. Some of the best Mac and cheese I've ever had in a barbecue place. He told me how he made it so good, but i'm not going to give you his secret. They don't have all the traditional sides, but I will post his menu, so you can see for yourself. He was super nice. We talked quite a little bit while we were there and just overall loved it..

Decided to take the 3 hour drive from Clearlake, Texas to check out the BBQ …. Boy was the it worth the trip. Some of the juiciest and tender BBQ we have ever had. Seasons very well and a nice smoke ring on all the meat. The sauces are all homeade as well as all the sides. We even packed and bought more to take home. A must try!

If I could give this 6 stars I would, wow, the meat is awesome!! Awesome BBQ, wow it's moist and good!!! I live in Waco, just passing through and wow it's awesome! I will definitely be driving back out here just for the BBQ. The atmosphere and country music is great, the service is impeccable and the owner walks around talking to the patrons, highly respectable and I like it. If you are within 30 mins or driving up or down Interstate 35 you need to take a short detour here and come eat some excellent Texas BBQ! BBQ so good it makes you want to take a nap afterwards! 🤘

First visit to Victorian’s BBQ and we’re hooked! The spare ribs, sausages and country ribs were packed with flavor, and the Gouda mac and potato salad had that perfect homemade touch. Shoutout to Kelly for the jambalaya sample (delicious!) and to Joey for the great hospitality. Excellent service and a wonderful atmosphere. Mart is killing it! We’ll be back soon! 🍖🔥 We dined in and took the rest with us.
