Amazing experience. Is honestly a great place to go to for you and the the family. there is a memorial what you can take the stairs and enjoy the view faced towards the water.
Located along North University Parks Drive in Waco, the Waco Suspension Bridge is a historic landmark that serves as a scenic destination for the community. When it was originally completed in 1870, this iconic span was the longest suspension bridge of its kind west of the Mississippi. Today, it remains a beloved city highlight, holding an impressive 4.7-star rating from 2,892 Google reviews. Visitors can cross the historic structure to take in expansive views of the water and absorb a bit of area history during their visit.
Positioned right on the river walk, the bridge makes an ideal outing for individuals and families exploring this part of Waco. Guests can climb the stairs at the memorial to admire the scenery facing the water, or wander along the well-made walking paths that trace the river. The picturesque surroundings present great photo opportunities, and with restaurants conveniently situated nearby, visiting the site works well as part of an enjoyable day trip.

Very cool place to visit, right on the river walk. The bonus is getting a little history lesson while you are there about the bridge as well as the memorial there.

Beautiful bridge. Really short walk over the Brazos River. I walked over it and discovered a farmer’s market on Saturday that went until 1pm. It was a fun surprise. The bridge is also well lit at night. Felt safe there being alone. I easily found parking along the curb by the bridge.
