My wife and I planned a last minute overnight trip to Belton and found this wonderful site. It’s at the top of Belton Lake so there are not any ski boats which makes it perfect for swimming, kayaking, fishing, and paddle boarding. You can also park your fishing boat right up on the shore by your camp site. Everything was very clean and well kept. The park hosts were wonderful to work with as well. Very easy going and accommodating. We will definitely be using this site for many years to come if it is managed how it currently is.

I came here a couple of times when I was younger to fish and camp with my grandpa. We recently lost him, so we decided to come back and honor his memory at one of his favorite fishing spots. Terry was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. It meant a lot to be able to spend time in a place that held so many special memories. Thank you for helping make our visit a meaningful one.

Awesome campground! The hosts are great and it’s a good spot to watch Cranes congregate. It has running water on each site and a hot shower in the bathhouse by the bathrooms. Also each site has a picnic table, awning, grill and fire ring. 10/10 I will be back!

Had a great two and a half day trip and it was amazing the atmosphere was perfect and the park was overall very quiet. Also the big shout out to the volunteers that work there they were making their rounds pretty regular making sure everything was running smoothly. Very personable folks will love to come back soon.

We stayed in May of '25, and even though I've been coming my whole life, we had the best time ever. The park hosts are absolutely WONDERFUL and their dedication/hard work in the park truly shows. She was very laid back, approachable, and easygoing. We really enjoyed our spot and talking with these incredible hosts. I will definitely be back with my dogs and fishing poles 😁
