So there's I was, on my way back to DFW from Austin. Had a buddy with me after a weekend rock climbing sojourn. Stopped to fill up on gas and googled "breakfast near me", this place popped up. Easy to find off the highway, plenty of parking around the building. Small quaint dining area, seemed to be filled with locals. I ordered the Colcord w/chicken fried steak. Everything perfectly cooked, absolutely delicious, steak had a slight citrus zest(lemon), crispy breading but not greasy. Pancake was huge and had that slight buttery crustiness pancake lovers crave. Rachel gave excellent service, and the chef/manager Mike came around for a quick conversation, great guy. Really cool shop in the back with all sorts of interesting goods for sale. Everything reasonably priced and the business is geared to a great cause. If you're travelling from DFW to Austin, or Austin to DFW, you should definitely stop in and grab some breakfast or lunch, I know I'll be stopping in again. God bless!

We loved our 1st visit to this Cafe. We have been wanting to try it for a while and really glad we did. Food and service was excellent and prices were very reasonable! We tried the build your own omelet for my husband with the fresh biscuit and added apple chips pancakes too good to pass up. I had the pick 2 combo with half turkey cranberry sandwich and apple cranberry walnut salad.

World Cup Cafe & Fair Trade Center is a real hidden gem in Waco. We had a wonderful experience here. The food was good, the atmosphere is great and very clean, and the staff were attentive and friendly. Our waitress Crystal was professional and genuinely nice. What made it extra special was Chef Mike. He came out to our table, talked with us, explained the nonprofit side of the organization, and even prayed with us. You can tell this place is about more than just serving a meal—they’re supporting a great cause through Mission Waco and fair trade, and it shows in the warm welcome and hospitality. Really glad we got to support something meaningful while enjoying tasty food. All around a good little spot. We’ll definitely be back!

Total hidden gem! I stopped in for lunch and had the BLT and onion rings. The BLT was perfect—thick-cut, crispy bacon and fresh tomatoes that actually tasted like they came from a garden. But the onion rings? Those were the star of the show. Super crunchy and not greasy at all. You can tell this place is a local favorite. I’ll definitely be back! Rachel was super friendly and the food came out quick and Hot! If you are from Waco you should know about this spot and if you aren’t make sure you stop in for a good meal!

Overall, this was a great experience. We were brought in by family, (who come weekly) and we're not disappointed. From the immediate greeting, clean appearance, and joyful staff, we felt very taken care of and at home. The food was comforting and so delicious! The mission and vision of this establishment is incredible. I'm so glad we were able to be part of something so positive and meaningful. Best wishes to World Cup in their very, very bright future ahead.
